Product Empties #5

I cannot believe that this is my third post of this series for this year. This is all because I am in the process of finding my best skincare and products for myself so I need to try and error to know if it is working or suitable on my skin or not. Hope you don't mind seeing me posting this series so much.

NIVEA Original Lip Balm

I have to say here that this is the best lip balm I ever use! It is also my first time trying a lip balm from Nivea and I fell in love at the first sight! I have used some of the other brands before but nothing can beat this one. I have very dry and chapped lips and having a lip balm is definitely a must. It helps to hydrate and moisturize my lips without feeling uncomfortable on the lips. They have a lot of selection of Nivea lip balm but I picked the original or plain one cause I think my lips like it better more than the flavoured one. From my past experience, the flavoured one tends to make my lips dried even more once it fully absorbed to my lips and I hate that feeling the most. This lip balm helps my problematic lips a lot and I would love to try another lip balm from Nivea in the future. If someone asked me a lip balm to use, I would recommend Nivea lip balm to start with. No doubt.

COSMODERM Vitamin E Cream 3,000 I.U with Rosehip Oil

This cream used to be my moisturiser before but I decided to stop halfway through because I noticed my skin became more oiler than it is used to be. Maybe it is my mistake cause cream usually not suits for oily skin well since it is made for dry skin type. The main reason why I bought this because it has rosehip oil which helps to fade away scars. So I'm thinking maybe it will work on my acne scars? But it seems like it doesn't suit my skin well so I just applied it to my scars on my hands due to cooking. It helps though it took time to fade away.

Clean&Clear Oil Control Film

Can you believe how long I have been keeping this thing? It is freaking 8 years guys. Even I can believe it took that long for me to finish it. It came handy everytime my skin started to get oily throughout the day. All you need is take a sheet and swipe it to your skin and you will be noticed the sheet turned darker due to the oiliness. I found it satisfying to see the oily get off from the skin. You can also do it when you have makeup on cause it will not smudge. And that's how you get fresh looking skin in a minute!

ELIANTO Make Up Cleansing Tissue (Green Tea)

I do not prefer using wipes to remove my makeup but wipes can be so handy when I'm going out or travel since all I need to do is take a piece and wipe it all over my face. It only cost me RM9.90 for two of this wipes. For me, it is so affordable and the quality is not bad. It did remove my makeup very well but I still need my Garnier Micellar Water for my last step of removing makeup just to make sure that I do not have any makeup left behind on my skin.

BIO-ESSENCE Miracle Water

I remember one day my family and I went to Putrajaya Wetland and it was so hot at that time and I sprayed this mist to my face and it helps me calm down a bit from the heat. I did also used it as my setting mist to set my makeup. I don't think my makeup last longer but I do noticed that it smoothen out the texture when I am wearing makeup to prevent cakey-ness. One of the best face mist I ever use and definitely going to repurchase in the future.

  1. Currently using that Cosmoderm cream but it's not as good as I think it would. Struggling to empty it since I don't want to waste my money

    1. Same. Maybe it didn't work out on us but someone else. You can apply the cream on your hand if it is dry or just apply it to any scars on your body. Hope you will find a product that works great on you 😊

  5. omg 8 years?!! i used up all my blotting paper for only a few weeks because it is really satisfying to look at when the paper darkens and showing the oily parts in dots (from pores) XD

    1. I know right. It is so satisfying to see the paper changed the colour. Never thought it could be that long. At first, it was all because I don't want to finish it so early so I cut it into two pieces. But then, I misplaced the paper until last year I found it back. Glad that it doesn't have expiry date and just a blotting paper cause if it has, it will be turned bad. Pss, never keep things for so long anymore 😁

  6. Have tried the c&c oil control film. Even though my skin is oily, but I found it didn’t as bad as I thought it’ll be so I stopped using it & just continue with my skincare routine but overall, it’s not that bad

    1. You are so lucky! While I'm here looks like a greasy ball. But as for now, it is not as bad as before since I changed my moisturiser early this year 😊
